Dr. Arvle Marshall spent his early years on a cattle ranch while studying Animal Husbandry at Texas Tech. While he worked on his degree, he met a veterinarian at the college, and along with his fascination with biological sciences, he decided on a path to veterinarian medicine.
Dr. Marshall received a DVM from Texas A&M in 1964. After becoming a Veterinarian, he received a PhD in Neurology and Anatomy. He has spent most of his career in academic teaching and research. His primary research focused on Brain-Stem Auditory Response (BAER/ Hearing Test) on canines and horses.
He has now retired from teaching, and spends his time with his family, gardening, and wood-working. He also still works part-time at the Animal Health Center performing BAER tests on pets from throughout the Southeast.
